Looking into some of the wacky origins of the Halloween season, the JabberGuys uncover the history that makes up this ghostly celebration.  While discussing iconic scary movie references, they do find some disagreement around the reference for sexy movie witches.  Along the way they also reveal some of their own real-life experiences with the paranormal.

  • Michael Myers, Halloween
  • Queex enlightens us on the Michael Myers mask connection to William Shatner
  • Jason, Friday the 13th (hockey mask): 
  • Reference to hockey goaltender Terry Sawchuk
  • A goalie in the National Hockey League from 1949-1970 and died at the age of 40 years old… Known for not wearing a protective mask and suffering the scars of too many pucks to the face: (Pic) 

Segment 3:
The JabberGuys recall some of their own haunted theatre experiences.
- The old haunted movie theatre (Princess Theatre)
- Ote shares some true stories about ghostly incidents at the old theatre
- Fire at the theatre verified!

Segment 4:
What is Halloween without witches?   The JabberGuys remember some famous, sexy, and not-so-sexy witches from the movies.  Well, they don’t all agree on what’s sexy.

Segment #5:
- The origin of ‘Jack-o-lanterns’ based in Irish folklore
-Stingy Jack’s deal with the devil and his fate as… “Jack of the Lantern
